some similar test shots are on my web page, but shot with Canon S2 IS and
1.7x tele (and also 0.5x wide) adapter
....middle range (5-6x zoom) is not shown, but can be done if exactly
interested...

Most of these add-on lenses are junk, crappy performance.
They have low sharpness and high CA, vignetting, etc.
But, in the final analysis, if they show you more detail at distance
than your current set-up, they've done their job.

The Nikon TC-2x and 3x converters are not junk and have none of the
mentioned issues when used with the CP-9xx and 4500.
