Hi guys,

I'm thinking of getting an inexpensive rangefinder, and wanted a focal
length of no more than 35mm or so. On my list are the Olympus XA
(most likely candidate), Yashica Electro CC (probably too expensive or
too hard to find) and I've just come across a Ricoh AD-1. Don't know
anything about them, though. Any experiences?

Cheers,
Steve

The AD-1 (c. 1980) was the last of Ricoh's springwound full-frame 35's.

It is a zone focus model with a program shutter, dateback
and Ricoh's standard 40mm f/2.8 multicoated lens.

Ricoh offered a fitted case for underwater photography with the AD-1.

Excelsior, you fatheads!
