I invite everyone interested in the Pentax Spotmatic and Pentax ES camera
systems to visit my web site, dedicated to preserving and archiving
information about these classic cameras and lenses. The site is completely
non-commercial and sells nothing, nor does it have any sort of advertising,
cookies, spyware or other tracking bugs.

We currently have scans of lens data sheets for every SMC Takumar that was
in production as of 1975, which was the point when Asahi Optical Company
discontinued production of the screw-mount system. These lens data sheets
have valuable information that most Pentax owners have never had access to
them before.

We just added magazine review of the Spotmatic-F, published in 1974, as an
historical piece. The review has test results of both the camera and its
normal lens, along with photos of stripdown examination, and Spotmatic-F
users will find it an essential addition to their document libraries.

We will be adding scans of manuals, Honeywell Pentax sales literature and
additional photo magazine reviews over the coming weeks.

This site is a labor of love, and exists to serve as an online library of
seldom-seen literature on what surely is one of the most highly-regarded
35mm camera systems of all time. If you have ever used any of the
