Hi Patrick.
Any image that you create or open in PhotoShop can be made into a
pattern. In PhotoShop, when you have an image that you want as a
pattern in your workspace... from the main menu... select: "Edit" >
"Define Pattern" > then give it a name, and hit the OK button.
Keep in mind that any image you create here for the pattern does not
need to be saved as a file, and I would suggest keeping the file open
and tweaking it until you get it the way you want it. The pattern is
saved into PS's system, and will be there until you delete it from your
pattern pallette. Just keep in mind that the pattern will repeat
itself, so some work may be needed to make it seamless when you apply
the pattern. For example, if you have diagonal lines, you may need to
adjust the size to make the lines line up.
Steps 1 thru 3 of this tutorial
http://www.photoshopcafe.com/tutoria...ines/scan.html
demonstrates simply how to create a pattern. This tutorial uses PS 6,
but I believe it is the same in all versions of PhotoShop.
