At the beginning me and two friends who were design classmates an art
college who also love photography start to make a website that showed
our photos. After awhile, with the collection of our generic photos
started to grow, we were thinking of creating a website to literary
giving away our photos to students in particular. Because based on our
experience back in the college, it was really a tough time for us to
find decent photos to support our school projects, so we oh, well this
can be cool and fun -- since these days there are so many stock
photography sites out there that charge quite a lot of money for their
stock photos to be used. And we now, students aren't 'rich' to afford
that. So in many situation, in order to finish their projects
(projects that need photos) they'll have to 'snatch' other photographs
online, eg. through Google image search, Yahoo, etc.

Well, I think we have the purpose -- a positive purpose to keep our
free photo website run so most of the students can benefit from our
works. Anyway, we found joy n doing this -- even with hardly any extra
$ we get from this website (btw, we all have our full-time too, so
we're cool).
