We put a 2GB type M xD digital camera card into an older reader that
apparently corrupted the card. The camera now says "no picture". On a computer with a different card reader, we see the first 126 images (files) each appearing 4 times (obviously invalid ... it appears as if there are 4 files each with the same file name). The problem is that we want to retrieve photos beyond the first 126 (about another 100 images). Any suggestions as to how to recover the contents of the card? ** Posted from http://www.teranews.com ** Barry Watzman |

Good luck- I learned this the hard way- if you use Windows explorer to
write/erase through the card reader- you will likely corrupt a camera memory card. I now only use the camera to delete photos (or the acquisition/transfer software from the camera mfr. Luckily I was able to recover all the photos I lost.
