I have been happy enough with my canon camera powershot sx100is other than there is artifacting . It is a good camera to bring along to excursions that I would not bring my SLR, and the video was an added bonus ,however... I have recently had to try and replace it because of an inside camera lens smudge. I tried to replace it with the newer model that had all of the same specifications but was a higher mega pixel powershot sx120is ... but when I upload the photos they are less than half the megabytes of the older smaller megapixel camera......... Very frustrating, and yes I have it set at the highest setting........
