Large - low quality - prints

I'm looking to get some largish colour photo prints that don't have to
be glossy photo paper to decorate the walls at a charity event.

Currently I can only find Kodak glossy 12" x 8" at £1.99; and then 18"
x 12" prints from various sources at £6.99.

Can anyone point me to a printer who can produce say, 16" x 24" in a
poster quality for a lowish price, please. (The actual number and sizes
will depend on the cost, ideally I'm looking for around 20-30)

Have you thought of getting a local photo centre to sponsor the event?
They might print you some for free.

ASDA (online) does 20 x 16 prints at £4.98 and 30 x 20 at £9.87 each.

ASDA looks the cheapest option, do you know what the quality is like (I
don't want any now but it is useful to know)?

ASDA is the only one of these I have used for posters. The quality
was very good - more than good enough to hang on the wall at home.

Easier to find if spelt correctly: Prontaprint and KallKwik.

Most branches have Canon laser copiers that print up to A3 size (420 x
297mm or about 16" x 12"). This is probably too small for the OP.

Staples can print in colour at very competitive rates up to A1 if not A0
size, and they can laminate them as well. Often near while you wait
service, and from card, stick, or CD.
