Do any of the third party lenses work well with the Ricoh K mount
cameras? I don't mean just the basic functions but all of them? The Pentax A
mount lenses won't let the camera set the aperture?

I don't know, but I use Ricohs, and I use Pentax, Ricoh, Sears, and I even
have one Osawa. They all work OK and are fairly cheap on E-Bay.

Do you use any A mount Pentax lenses on the Ricohs? I've picked up three
Ricoh bodies for very little and would like one lens that can handle the
full range of features.

No, I don't use anything w/ "Program", so i don't know if they'd work.

Tamron still makes lenses that work with most manual focus
cameras including Ricoh. They are 100% compatible with all Ricoh
bodies. Including the XRP and KR30. They require a Ricoh adaptall mount.
A lot of K mount lenses from the 1980's are compatible with Pentax A and
Ricoh P {program} mount.
