Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 or Fuji FinePix S9000

After checking reviews on the web I've narrowed it down to these two. Any
opinions for or against?



"What I would like is a camera that:
a) robust enough to stand up to spending a few days trekking in sometimes
very wet/humid conditions
b) can take reasonably "wide" landscape pics, street scenes etc
c) decent low light shots, sans flash preferably - without reverting to a
tripod.
d) anti-shake would probably be a good thing.....I guess
e) open to suggestions for things I may have not considered"

Both very nice cameras. I have the earlier FZ20 and it's a honey. The
Leica lens swayed me but battery life is a consideration I never took
into account. My time over again and I'd still go for the Panasonic.

Just hold the S9000 and even do IR photos with it.
One thing for sure ... its a fine camera. Low high iso noise , solid feel ,
quite sharp lens.

It is owned by a friend of mine who use a FZ-20 before.
