Wouldn't that be the NTSC model?

Sorry, yes. Maybe there is an analog with PAL. Also it has 3CCD and it's not
looking very expensive for this category, something like 350 USD.

But I very much doubt that 'D' will be needing to pay UK import duty,
I also suspect that he actually wants a NTSC camcorder - sometimes it
helps to check the message headers to find the OP country of
origin...

Doesn't the "uk" part of the newsgroup name mean that we shouldn't really
worry about arsing around with headers? If a poster is asking specifically
non-UK or non-PAL, they have an obligation (of sorts) to make that clear
IMO.
