Hi all,

I've just introduced scanning into my workflow and am wanting to get early
runs on the board. My needs are:

- calibrate screens* (1 PC laptop, 1 PC workstation + Philips Pro 19" CRT +
17" LCD)
- calibrate the scanner (Microtek 120tf)
- and to have some high level instruction on the proper use of colour
profiles, some scanning workflow instruction etc.

Over the years I've learned much of the 'digital darkroom' through advice on
the web (thanks Luminous Landscape) and from lots of (often frustrating)
hard yards, resulting in OK images and the gradual emergence of a cranial
solar panel. Aaaahhhh, such is life. After all, my love is trying to take
great shots all over the planet, not sitting for endless hours trying to
Adobe Photoshock them to hell and back in my office! :-)

So if anyone can recommend a professional, or who is able to do the above
for me in Chatswood, I would appreciate it. I am not expecting a 'mate's
rate', but am not going to pay someone thousands of dollars for hours of
stuffing around because they really aren't as expert as they make out - this
has happened in the past... :-)

Many thanks,
Dave E (Sydney)

* I have a Colorvision Spyder which I do use on my screens, but I realise
this is not really 'pro standard'...
