The Pentax K20D and K-7 still use Samsung sensors. And the Samsung
GX-20, which is still a current model, uses the Pentax KAF3 mount and
electronic interface, and the Pentax-designed anti-shake system. So
the "affiliations" are still there, even if they aren't likely to be
built on and extended in future.
Of course the bad news is that, without a strategic partner, Pentax
will not survive in the DSLR market for long.
