Specifically the Nikon 5700 Vs the Fuji S602 Pro.

Use will be astronomical, attached to a telescope. I need low noise, long exposures, with good zoom
factors & high ISO ratings, a remote control facility, and finally, a threaded lens area for
attaching to the scope.

I know that both these cams do this, but has anyone got any first hand experince of them generally
or with astronomy in mind ?

The Nikon looks my better bet at up to 5 mins B setting (with auto noise reduction) so far, but the
Fuji is a bit cheaper and will drop in price a bit more as soon as the S7000 comes out.

Any comments please ?

Budget for a remote cord (stupidly expensive) to get long exposures like
that. If its anything like my 4500, 8secs is the longest exposure it'll
do without either holding the button down or using a remote release.
