I haven't used them myself as yet, but they have a damn good rep and
fairly good prices (Lambda prints per square meter).

Never used fstoponline either but their lambda prices are sooo good!
Seeing how almost everything else photographic are expensive in australia,
these lambda prints actually cost alot cheaper in aus compared to the
states!

why arent the rest of us getting lambda prints i wonder.

Well go to their website and find out
From memory they are about 40% cheaper than US prices, at any given size.
Photoking in sydney has similar competitive pricings as well, however it
seems that u r in melbourne so not sure about vic prices.

Oh, yeah, sorry about that! I thought I had looked there before but it
seems that I was thinking of another place that does lambda prints - but
they do not tell you the price until you contact them and register!

I have had a couple of test prints done by F-stop. The colour/density was
fine but I used their L2 service which only accepts jpeg files at quality
7-8. The price was right ($3 for 10x8) sharpness was not up to scratch,
presumably because of the jpeg file.

I have not yet used their normal Lambda service.

Another lab I used a lot is Custom Colour in Perth. They have a Pegasus
printer so can only go up to 20x30" but the quality is good. 08 9381 4277
(no web site)

For larger prints, up to 50x96" Latrobe in Melbourne are good. They've
recently changed hands though and I haven't used them since.
