Alan,

Thanks for those - the lens is selling here in Sydney for ~$2200

I was trying one out in the weekend myself - it's surprisingly smaller and
lighter than I thought it would be

Although I have (and LOVE the 17-35 AFS), those extra 5mm really make a
difference - I can see that it would be an excellent lens for architectural
or real estate shooters

forgot to add, those pictures were real very sharp (on my monitor) and I
found it dificult (I couldnt) see any CA at the extemities of the pictures
at all

Hmmm - I dont want to get hooked - I'm still smarting from some recent AFS
purchases

Hi Pete,

So far I'm pretty pleased with the results I'm getting with this combo. I'm
hoping for some better weather over here so I can get out a bit more and
really put this baby through the hoops.

BTW All the shots are full-frame - just as they came from the camera.
Most were shot as
CCD-RAW images and were downsized and converted to jpeg for the pages. The
lens was used without any filter fitted. Still waiting for my Hoya Pro
filters to come into stock.
