Canon Camera Evaluations

Hi all (first-time poster),

I am a beginner-class photographer, having only relatively recently
developed the interest, and I would like to have an evaluation of a
couple of canon cameras that I am considering.

I am looking to start off with the Canon 300V for a budget camera, and
later on look at either the Canon 1V or the Canon 3.
