Oh dear, have we come across someone who SO anal about his toys that he
can't bear the thought that other people might have the idea that a laugh
every now and again isn't a bad idea?

Someone needs to do some growing up, and then when he sees a post entitled
"A bit of a laugh", he can make an informed decision about whether or not
it's got "anything to do with heli's" and should be opened lest he miss some
earth shattering snippet of information, or left alone in case it's not.

More likely we've come across an American who's finding it impossible
to justify why his government dragged us (and I include our lap dog of
a prime minister) into a war which it's increasingly obvious was
nothing at all to do with WMD or terrorists.

Now it's turning into a guerilla war with our death toll is steadily
rising I wonder what's happening to the US public feeling ?. Bush
clearly thinks that executing a few hundred foreighners after sham
military tribunals will help public feeling, I wonder what planet he's
really from ?.

What must worry the British commanders is that they now don't know who to
duck from first...the rag heads firing at them or the yanks trying to fire
back but hitting our chaps instead!

In article <be7f9l$3cd$(E-Mail Removed)>,
(E-Mail Removed) says...

A lot about this is covered at http://www.prisonplanet.com

I heard that some people in Iraq have said their life was actually better
before the US/GB invasion when Saddam was in power. Man talk about
corruption!

Unfortunately thats religious fundamentalism for you...anything from a
fellow ayrab is better than anything from an infidel. Trouble is, noe Bush
says "god told him to do it". Bluddy hell, the world is going mad. If I
said Elvis told me to do it theyd lock me up...but we have photographs of
elvis!!

Maybe, or maybe it's the fact that, if you did as you were told under
the old totalitarian regime you had a good chance of having a job,
house, food on the table, water in the pipes, hospital treatment,
school and university places for your kids and could walk the streets
safely. But under the new totalitarian regime, for that's what they
have remember, there is no economy, little food or running water, no
medical treatment unless you get a TV crew to blackmail the US into
acting, few schools, no universities and death awaits you on the
streets either from criminals or US troops.

Of course under the old regime you could be taken in the middle of the
night, tortured, sumarily tried and executed. Whereas under the new
regime there's the POW camps containing thousands of people that the
press has not been allowed to see and of course Guantanamo bay...

The Iraqis must be mad not to be happier under the US flag !

If you're referring to your inability to post correctly, I quite agree!
