What about Bushes little Lapdog John Howard?
He went against the Australian's opinion poll that was a week before he
decides to involve this Country.
86% Australians at the time of the poll were against Australia being part
of the coalition.
So after all this he is still in office and reaches higher popularity.
And the Australian that is held by the Amis in that Camp for 18 months
without proof or legal representation?
Howard just agreed to let Bush court martial him !!!!!
How do you like your Prime Minister to hand over his own citizens to another
country without proof and total denial of legal defense.
What's wrong with you Aussies...wake up..you are being screwed.
Al

Sorry, had to get that of my chest :-)

Al ol' mate ; so you should get it off your chest. It is good to see you
chaps taking an interest in our muddy waters called Government.

Just like your beautiful country, we are labelled, for better or worse, a
'democracy'. With all its inherent weaknesses, Churchill summed it up once
as the best of a bunch of faulty systems (or some such statement) and that
unfortunately means we have to wait for a General Election to put matters
right, if the majority feel that needs doing.

From where I sit, thinking Aussies, perhaps interested Aussies, will have no
great wish to see John Winston Howard back on the treasury benches at the
next election. It is appalling that Howard just agreed to let Bush court
martial one of our citizens. Our Attorney General Williams, of recent days,
reckons our Government would intervene if the death penalty was handed down
!

Howard is a megalomaniac. Can't describe him any other way. His great
appeal, if indeed he has one, was to fight for the leadership of his party
not once, but twice ; then put down twice from the leadership to rise once
again 10 years later !!! And then win an election !!! In a warped way, I
think the electorate admire a trier - you know, "give the bastard a fair go"
syndrome. In another warped way, Aussie's get all patriotic over a war and
since the boys and girls have ALL returned safely from the battlefield,
Howard milks this for all its worth with welcome home parades across the
nation. His spin Doctors must be the best in the world, because it does not
matter how you look at little John, it's not a pretty face...

My remaining mates from WW2 are not at all happy with these events I can
tell you. It cuts right across what that war was fought for and the freedoms
that were dreamed of.

So Al, you have guessed by now, I share your sentiments exactly and have no
joy writing this. It is a very sad day when you feel embarrassed by the
actions of the Australian PM and his Government. We will get over it and get
on.

especially likely:

eBay fees have reached 53% of purchase prices, now that the U.S. Post
Office, FedEx Corp., and UPS have granted it an automatic percentage of
members' shipping fees

I notice also that an increasing number of vendors are now applying a
surcharge when payment is made by PayPal .... completely contrary to
the ethic of PayPal, which claims that it's a "free way to pay".

We're all being screwed, the US seems to have decided it's time for a
new world order with them as the new master race 8-(.

I know, it certainly doesn't help having a president obsessed with the
occult and satanism while claiming to be a christian. Check out the Dark
Secrets at Bohemian Grove video at:-

I'm sorry to be so off-topic in this group, but damn this is the FUTURE
we are talking about!!!

I know, but I agree with them. PayPal sucks (check www.paypalsucks.com for
proof ;-) it's owned by eBay and they take *another* 4% ? Ludicrous

It doesn't matter what you think about him, the point is that the New
World Order agenda affects EVERYONE on the planet!!! Have you even read
the Patriot Act??? If they succeed in passing this and the NWO gets in
place, you won't be allowed to do ANYTHING!!! Total world fascism.

Read about the Patriot Act here:-

http://www.infowars.com/print_patriotact2_analysis.htm

This is global tyranny, and if this power-mad global elite gets their
way, you're gonna wish you had done something about it when you had the
chance!
