I have read a lot about the EOS3 and the 550EX flash being "designed for
each other". is that just a factor of modernity, and could I expect a 10D to take full advantage of the 550EX's capabilities and vice versa? Neale |

The 550EX has been out for a few years, and I got mine as part of the deal when
I bought an EOS3 in 2000. I think there were some problems using the 550EX on the D30 & D60. Thankfully these don't exist with the 10D. Simple to use wireless ratio flash is a reality with two 550EXs and suitable cameras, and the ST-E2 is a good accessory as well.. (Make sure you get the instruction manual for the 550EX.) -- M Stewart Milton Keynes, UK www.megalith.freeserve.co.uk/oddimage.htm Neale <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news (E-Mail Removed)...> I have read a lot about the EOS3 and the 550EX flash being "designed for > each other". is that just a factor of modernity, and could I expect a 10D to > take full advantage of the 550EX's capabilities and vice versa? |

Yes. They compliment each other perfectly. |
