Default Compatability issues - Tokina ATX-Pro with Canon EOS10D

I have heard of one or two compatability issues withregard to Sigma lenses
and the 10D - does this caution apply to all non-Canon lenses, or will my
Tokina be ok?

Your Tokina should be fine. Tokina are licensed by Canon to make
lenses to fit EOS cameras, whereas Sigma are not. Sigma try to
reverse engineer mounts and interfaces so as to escape paying licence
fees to camera manufacturers.
