Hi there,
I've just finished building a photography portfolio website and would really apppreciate your feedback. http://www.andybudd.com I'm particulaly interested in: 1. What you think of the design and functionality of the site? Does everything work as expected and are there any bugs? 2. What people think of the photos? Are there any photos that are just not good enough to be in there? Look forward to your feedback Andy sys |

Nice use of DOF on a lot of them, some good portraits and scenic shots. I'm impressed. Chris. |

Nice site but Flash does contrain you if you want regular updates. It also
takes away your visitors' attention from the images. Images are too small imho they should be at least 600 on one side - but from what i can see they are nice. You could also do with a thumbnail gallery at some point - people tend to go for 1-2 of the best pictures and dont want to click through an unknown number. -- Irakli http://www.urbandetail.net "sys" <(E-Mail Removed)> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:(E-Mail Removed) om... > Hi there, > > I've just finished building a photography portfolio website and would > really apppreciate your feedback. > > http://www.andybudd.com > > I'm particulaly interested in: > > 1. You can use XML, action script, etc to create good content that can easily be updated through an external text file. > Images are too small imho they should be at least 600 on one side - but from > what i can see they are nice. A thumbnail gallery would be a good addition. Chris. |

I'd prefer to have smaller galleries with > better pic's that have duff pics in there Hi Andy, I like a lot of the photographs on your site... almost all of them in fact. The only thing I would suggest is that you have a number of shots of the same subject - like the two shots of the fairground ride in Brighton, the shots of the gas cylinders in the Maldives, the building with the eyes painted on it in Nepal - I just think maybe you should choose your favourite shot of each subject and remove the rest. If you're trying to show an overview of your work, I don't think you should be concentrating too much on showing multiple angles of the same image. It's not that I don't like the various views, but I just think that any decent photographer will take multiple shots of a subject, then it's up to you to decide which one is best. If you were presenting a set of photographs as a study of a particular object, then multiple angles are fine... but maybe not in a portfolio? Just my opinion.. Chris. |

See, the problem now is people including myself are discussing the site
rather than the pictures. The trick is KISS! with the site and bring out the piccies more. -- Irakli http://www.urbandetail.net "sys" <(E-Mail Removed)> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:(E-Mail Removed) om... > Hi there, > > I've just finished building a photography portfolio website and would > really apppreciate your feedback. > > http://www.andybudd.com > > I'm particulaly interested in: > > 1.
