Teleconvertor for Nikkor 180 F2.8 ED

Hi people,
can anyone recommend which teleconvertor will give the best results with
a Nikkor 180mm F2.8 ED lens. I am interested in the TC-14 series (I want
a 1.4 or 1.5x, not a 2x), but am not sure which one will be suitable,
the TC-14, 14A or 14B.
Any ideas?

According to a Nikon lens chart I have here in pdf form, only the 14A is
usable.
