Default Canon S230/Ixus V³ won't connect with XP system

My Canon S230/Ixus V³ gives me this message when I try and click on
Camera | My Camera Settings in ZoomBrowser (v4.6.1.35):

Unable to detect camera having My Camera setting capability.
Please check the following:
- Is a camera connected that supports My Camera settings?
- Is the connection implemented with an appropriate communications mode?

The camera mode Communication is set to Normal. Should I use PTP?

These are the versions of the files used in ZoomBrowser (Help | About |
Versions):
Browse & Download Images... ZbTaskCameraWindow.dll 4.5.1.143
Upload Images ZbTaskCameraWindow.dll 4.5.1.143

Backup to CD ZbTaskCDBurn.dll 4.6.0.32
Set Auto-download ZbTaskAutoDownload.dll 4, 6, 2, 16
Stitch Photos ZbTaskPhotoStitch.dll 4.5.1.143
View as a Slide Show ZbTaskSlideShow.dll 4.5.1.143
Layout Print ZbTaskPhotoRecord.dll 4.6.0.30
Contact Sheet Print ZbTaskPhotoRecord.dll 4.6.0.30
Remote Shooting... ZbTaskRemoteCapture.dll 4.5.2.13
Search ZbTaskSearch.dll 4.5.1.143
Export Images ZbTaskExport.dll 4.5.1.145
Export Movies ZbTaskMovieExport.dll 1.1.1.32
Process RAW Images ZbTaskRIC.dll 4.6.0.1
Email Images ZbTaskSendEmail.dll 4.5.1.143
Edit Movie ZbTaskMovieDesk.dll 1.1.1.41

Using WinXP Pro with 768MB Ram. I can get the new pictures from the
camera connected with the USB lead, but it seems only when I click on My
Camera settings that I get this error.
I have been to
http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/con...4#New%20Window
to get the latest software so am wondering if I need to update anything
else?
Thanks
