Default Kodak easyshare

Has anyone experienced problems with software bundled with the Kodak CX7330
digital camera? Seems to conflict with WIN98SE and won't allow normal
shutdown. Upgrading to release 4.0 from Kodak website does not work due to
download corruption caused by (allegedly) ISP interruption during download.

Just got a cx7430 and can't transfer video....... software can't seem to find
it on the camera (but it's there).

Did an upgrade (which took forever) and same problem. For the last 30
mins. the software has been 'searching for pictures'. I give up.

I had so much problem with Win98/Me (unbelievable amount of freezes or
crashes) that I reformatted my HD and loaded Win2000. A lot of work but
I've been happy ever since.

For those who use the cx7330, when you take your first picture the
file is saved as 000_001.jpg and it continues to count everytime you
take a picture. This is using the internal memory. (E.g. 000_002.jpg,
000_003.jpg) The problem is that when you delete the photos on your
camera or format the camera, the file name will just continue from the
number it left off at. How can I reset that?
