I see a lot of hype on the Canon Digital Rebel. Are they the best you can
get for the money? ($1,000)

I got mine 2 months ago I have really, really been enjoying it. I also
think its the only DSLR you can get right now for under a grand. I
paid $750 for mine with the kits lens.

I've got a Canon EOS IX w/ a pair of Sigma lenses (28-80mm 1:3.5-5.6 Macro
and 100-300mm 1:4.5-6.7 DL). I've been thinking of upgrading the body to
either a 35mm or digital. Would the Digital Rebel be compatible with these
lenses? Thanks,

T Donily

The 300d is supposed to be compatible with all EOS lenses. I have a Sigma
18-125 and it works a treat.

I wanted a Camera that i could take everywhere.The rebel -10D-20D were
just to big..Plus to buy Lens would take me broke ! I purchased the Pro 1
and am more than satisfied . I bought the Telo-photo lens ,adaptor and Im
Thrilled with the photos, their crisp and clear. The more i read the manual
and learn what it can do,The more impressed I am by it .
