And your point is? Are these things soooo relevant to video-editing?
Short boot-times and how quick you can install the software on a
harddrive? Geez, if these are THE selling-points of the AVIO, or
the only ones on which you sell your product, I feel very sorry
for the people who fall for this nonsense!

Martin:

I want to spend my time being inventive and creative while I edit....not
waiting for my PC to boot or render......and I sure as heck don't want to
put my projects at risk while my computer operating system gets attacked by
a VIRUS or some other software glitch.

One thing I think you have failed to comprehend is that you do not need to
connect a PC to the internet or install games and pirated software etc.

If you install a PC with only video editing software you will have a PC
which is fast and stable and virus free. Oh and very inexpensive.

What are you selling, AVIOs or Macs???
