Automated photo gallery question

I am from Milan, Italy.

While browsing on the internet, I came across the tutorial on creating
web photo galleries published in www.daisey.com.

I loved the design of the thumbnails on the left in the "photo" and
"sushi" galleries.

I particularly appreciated this idea of putting all the thumbnails in
a
grid of separate rows and columns, and I was trying to obtain
something
similar on my own.

However, given to my poor knowledge of html, I dod not succed in
having
photoshop automatically put the thumbnails in a grid of separate
columns.

Can anyone (or maybe the author) suggest any solution for automating
the job through Photoshop template's files?

I would very much appreciate your help.
