No mater what mode I choose from the bar at the top of the screen, the
diffuse glow darkens bits of the picture. It didnt used to!! Please help Tacit if you mean the mode selection in the tollbar I just tries all of those but it made no difference. I checked the help facility and it referes to selcting modes but doesnt (I couldnt see) say how you do this. It refers to antistropic for example wich isnt in the mode dropdowm menu when I look at the toolbar. Am I missing something? How do you select the mode for this filter. Here are links to the original and one that is darkened. http://www.gary.sandy.btinternet.co...._0006ndgdg.jpg http://www.gary.sandy.btinternet.co.uk/Chrs_0006dg.jpg Thanks "Tacit" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:(E-Mail Removed)... > >Suddenly, in my portraits, diffuse glow, instead of lightening the whole > >picture, is darkening it. It didnt used to!! Have you got your Forefround/Background reversed on the Tools Pallette? You need Black as Foreground to lighten, White as Foreground to darken. |
