I'm not your typical dark room developer - but I am interested in starting
somewhere.... has anyone ever come up with a design for a sink that does NOT use the outside water supply, but rather a portable one? I'm sure there are application in food service (massive egg farms, for one) and cleanrooms, etc. I'm always concerned about the environment, and this thought occurred to me for a stand-alone sink that recycled its own water using oyster shells (how they clean a polluted river in Japan) or charcoal, but no water goes in NOR goes out into the mains. My photog friend has some rather nasty chemicals. Even Winnebagoes and caravans use water from somewhere, but there's always backflow concerns in a clean room. I'm really a graphic designer by trade, but just wanted to know.... Chris Skurkey Co. Kerry, Ireland Chris Skurkey |
