Canon EOS 400D - Equivalent Nikon ?

    Probably the D80, about the same as the 400D and 450D.

    The D60 would probably be the closest, although in many ways
    it's below the 400D.

    Similarities:
    Basically Same resolution( D60 10.2, 400D 10.1)
    single control dial
    small body
    dust control
    similar shooting modes (Portrait, Landscape etc)
    both 3 Fps

    Differences:
    D60 3 AF Points, 400D 9 AF Points
    400D Lacks Spot Metering, D60 Lacks an equivalent for
    Canon's Partial metering.
    D60 - SD Cards, 400D - CF Cards
    D60 lacks Exposure Bracketing
    D60 lacks DOF Preview
    D60 can only use an Infrared remote (no cable option)
