    Hi,

Recently I purchased a SONY Camcorder in US. Model is DCR-TRV280. On
the box it was mentioned clearly '"This Camcorder cannot be used with
single system TV of PAL, SECAM, PAL-M nor PAL-N. If it is the
multisystem including NTSC it can be played back".

I am having a SONY Television in India. Model is KV-AR25M80. In the
manual it was mentioned that COLOR SYSTEM : PAL, PAL60, SECAM,
    NTSC3.58, NTSC4.43

In SONY Television manual they have mentioned that it supports NTSC
3.58 or 4.43. Not sure if this makes any difference.

I would like to know if I record with my SONY CAMCORDER, Can I play
back in my TV. Since in SONY CAMCORDER manual it has not mentioned
whether it support NTSC3.58 or 4.43 I am getting doubts.

If my TV Plays back then I would like to know if there would be any
difference in the clarity of the picture?

    Thanks & Regards,
    Kiran

That sounds like exactly the description of an NTSC 3.58 camcorder

Oh yes, it makes a big difference.

I would bet that yes it will play. You appear to have an NTSC 3.58
camcorder and your TV says it will support NTSC 3.58

Can't say. Depends on more things than just NTSC 3.58 vs. NTSC 4.43
