Tryin To Get Used To Drawing In Illustrator

Discussion in 'Photoshop Tutorials' started by Onideus Mad Hatter, Dec 10, 2005.

  1. I kinda have trouble getting my lines to look real smooth in
Illustrator and that "warp tool" only goes so far. I like Illustrator
better though in that it's all vector so I can alter my lines really
easy (which would be good for creating animated sequences). Anywho,
    for thems that are interested:

I think tomorrow I'll practice more coloring and shading.

When are you going to learn perspective so you can comprehend that,
that's how a hand would look at that position and angle?

Furthermore, when are you going to do...well, ANYTHING.

You, obviously, are not an artist. Artist's draw things in artistic ways,
not just how they "look". You have not learned how to draw pleasing shapes
and lines and thus you try and draw what you imagine a hand would look like
in that position. A pleasingly posed figure and -- hand -- would not
dramatize the "flipper" look of the hand.

Obviously you have not learned many things about figure drawing, and that is
    just one of them.
