Wiki info may be incomplete, anonymous cowardice

I post saying something about Islam,
it does not match up w/ what Wiki says,so...
    I am a hate-filled bigot!

I'm not really, I just know a little more than is on the Wiki entry on Islam.
That's not hard to do - the page is does not go into great detail.

Anyway, Islam is having an impact on "our" world that will affect our
ability to freely point our cameras where we wish.

As for my cowardly anonymous posting, I don't need everybody knowing my real name.
Nowadays that's not a good idea, for many reasons.

    thanks
    Frank

1 - More Islamists mucking about, saying "get that camera out of here before I smash it!"
2 - More Police mucking about, saying "you are under arrest for suspicious photography"
while being mistaken for a terrorist, although you are actually a local.

bigot: a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed,

IIRC, the guy carried on his bomb as multiple components which he
    mixed/assembled/whatever under a blanket.

I guess the single-bag limit is intended to make it easier to spot an
assemblage of items that could make up a bomb. The no-blanket rule
    should be obvious.

Other people's opinions are fine by me - I am actually quite tolerant
of differing creeds, beliefs and opnions.

I am not tolerant of a belief system called "Islam".
It has shown itself not to be worthy of my tolerating it.

I think much in life is to be tolerated - but not Islam. What is so wrong about that?

I'm curious: can you name the minimum specific changes that would have
to occur in Islam for it to become tolerable to you?

Maybe nothing, but one should be careful about painting with a wide brush.
Perhaps, it is extremist factions that you are talking about? Many who
    follow Islam are pacifists.

Please read the whole thing, if you are really interested.

As to the extremists ... a simple message, all people have the right to
defend their future and they will.

Which, as you show just below, is a complete lie.

    ad hominem:
The person presenting an argument is attacked instead of the
argument itself. This takes many forms. For example, the person's
character, nationality or religion may be attacked. Alternatively,
it may be pointed out that a person stands to gain from a
favourable outcome. Or, finally, a person may be attacked by
association, or by the company he keeps.
There are three major forms of Attacking the Person:

ad hominem (abusive): instead of attacking an assertion, the
argument attacks the person who made the assertion.
ad hominem (circumstantial): instead of attacking an assertion the
author points to the relationship between the person making the
    assertion and the person's circumstances.
ad hominem (tu quoque): this form of attack on the person notes
that a person does not practise what he
    preaches.

They will only have an impact on you if you allow them to manipulate you,
as they are doing now in this very thread. Just like any child in tantrum,
screaming for attention, the best solution is to walk away and ignore they
even exist until they learn more adult methods for getting attention.
Giving all the cultures of the middle-east the attention they want is only
encouraging them all of theme to continue to behave as childishly as they
have for the last 3000 years.

I for one refuse to let them manipulate me into anything in life. I change
the news channel, I killfile those threads. They don't deserve even this
    much attention.

They don't have to be. All they or anyone needs to do is allow all muslims,
christians, and jews to manipulate them into creating new laws, so they all
act, think, and behave just like all christians, muslims, and jews.

I try to do that as well, and I have learned a few things. Like how to see the
ignorance both in myself, and in others - like Ray Fischer.

I listen to them just long enough to learn if they are using
self-victimization principles or their own paranoias to try to manipulate
me to their way of thinking. Then after that has been ascertained, there is
nothing further that I might learn from them that might be beneficial to
anyone, especially myself. They then no longer exist. You can study the
witless fool's agenda if you wish, but in the end you will find nothing of
value in their existence. Been there, did that. I grew up.
