I have had a few more people request the batteries again.....so.......

For anyone interested, I am getting some more BP-511 clone batteries in
again. Specs/Price are exactly the same as previous, 1350mAh, LiIon Cells
from Japan casing assembled in China.

    Price $40 each
Postage $6.50 any quantity, anywhere in Aus.

Several members here have them from previous orders, and I'm sure they're
    happy with the performance

Drop me an email with your details if you would like any added to the order.

If anyone is interested, I just met a dealer who's bringing in batteries
    from overseas.

His price for the BP-511 clone is $45 incl GST for first 10 units ordered
    from this group.
Will be retailed at $90-ish in most electronic shop very soon.

Comes with 6 months 1 to 1 replacement warranty.

Mail me if you want to order [ b18atiidotnet ]
    I can't test them myself as I don't use Canon bodies :)

And they are assembled in Taiwan , from Japanese cells.
I've used his EN-EL1 and they are quite good compared to the original Nikon.

I can vouch for Derek's supply of these batteries. I bought 2 of them last
    month.

Easy to deal with and very prompt delivery.

    Cheers Derek.

I have. That is why I posted the information. I only bought one BP511
for my G3 but it seems to work well. There is a photo forum in
Singapore at www.clubsnap.com where I first saw the company mentioned.
They seem to be highly regarded. Post your questions at that site.
People from Eastgear hang out there too and answer questions as do
people who have bought these batteries.
