    Hi all,

    Given the effort, calculation and debate on this issue a while back,
    thought the group might be interested in this dpreview thread:

    <http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1019&message=5590701>

    Someone shot with the Canon 17-40 and the Sigma 15-30 in a store, and
    has posted pics for all to see comparing wide angle field of view.
    Not scientific, by any means, but definitely interesting to look at.

    Cheers,

    Danny

    I was actually surprised at the amount of difference - thought it
    would be a little less!

    Cheers,

    Now why didn't we think of that during that thread?

    Only goes to show:

    "The pleasurement of measurement outweighs the the stimulation of simulation."

    I, like you, have no clues as to what you're typing about means.

    I am in no hurry, I can wait a month or two for the penny to drop.
