Hi guys, did you test this flash with EOS300D (Digital Rebel)? Does it works? Thanks. Mike
The LCD does not operate except for viewing photos already taken. It gives a view a couple of seconds after the shot and can be used in playback to view all shots on the card. One uses the viewfinder for taking photographs.
can anybody tell me is it true that in CANON 300D lcd is not Digital SLR cameras have a mirror to send the image through the viewfinder (just like a film SLR). The mirror covers up the image sensor most of the time. The only time the mirror moves is when you press the shutter. Therefore, the only time the sensor can 'see' through the lens is when the photographer actually takes a picture. When the mirror is in it's normal position the no light falls on the sensor so the LCD cannot be used to compose pictures because no light is reaching the sensor until the shutter has been pressed.
