Hi, I'm looking for a good quality film that won't cost me too much that I
can get in the UK (I'm not sure how films differ from the US, maybe they
don't .....). I noticed that the Fuji Superia is fairly reasonably priced,
but is it as good as the Kodak Gold Ultra films?
    Thanks for any advice,
    Rich

  2. Hi

I always use the Fuji Film, I like the colors that it gives me, I don´t like
Kodak, can´t really tell why, I just feel that I get better results with the
    Fuji films.....

For normal photo (family and friends) I use Fuji Superia, when shooting
sports or a low light conditions (or if I don´t wan´t to use a flash I use a
    Fujipress 400 or 800

    Thats my favorites...

Fuji film , in my opinion, is the best available, especially their slide
film, but its false economy to skimp on film because of price, don't buy it
cos its cheap , buy it cos its good, you buy cheap film , you get cheap
    film.

Now, having said all that, If you want good film cheap, then go to
http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=777 , you can get your
top line fuji film for at least half price, delivered direct to your door.
They are based in Guernsey, thats why they can supply it at such low prices
    apparently.

Fuji make the best films, Kodak are very overrated but seem to be the market
leader, konica are good quality films, most own brand films are Agfa or
imation, agfa being the better of the two (tesco value films are made by
imation and should be avoided), boots films are as far as I know the only
own brand film made by fuji and are cheaper that high street shops fuji
    films.

If you want them cheap buy by mail order as it is about half price
    (7dayshop.com are quite good)
