I have a monthly subscription to Dishnetwork satellite (echostar). As
I understand it, it basically decrypts an (encrypted) digital signal
and converts it into analog output to tv. Is there a way to tap that
digital signal after decryption? It would avoid the quality-loss of
taking the analog output and reconverting it back to digital. I live
in the U.S. (seems like the european systems are different). Someone
out there have probably tried opening up the settop box! I have a Dish
301 receiver. Do not want to do something illegal.
