Has anyone bought this camera (Acer CR-5130 5mp Digital Camera) or
knows if rechargeable batteries will be included with it?

I'm thinking about buying it as a present for someone's birthday and
want it to come working out of the box. The person isn't very tech
orientated, so I'd rather the batteries be rechargeable by just
sticking the camera into the A/C adapter.

Also paying £30-40 for the lithium batteries it needs will pay for the
    camera after 3-4 batteries.

    Thanks.

According to a quick Google, it should ship with a Li-Ion battery and
AC charger. Buy from a reputable dealer, or they may strip those items
    off and ask extra..!

It is a bit risky buying a camera that does not yet have any reviews
online. Acer/Benq products are usually good value, and the optical
products I have owned from them have all had good, if not outstanding,
optics. But that is no guarantee.. Caveat Emptor!
