Adobe Premiere Pro 6.5 Preview Window??

    Lately, I been having problems with the preview window in Premiere Pro 6.5.
    The capture window will have horizontal lines when I 'm capturing video from
    my VCR. When I encode the video in TMPEGENC, the resulting video is fine
    with no problems. Even the video before I capture it is ok it's just the
    capture window itself. Anybody got any ideas??? Here are some specs:

    Windows XP Pro
    Canopus ADVC-100
    Asus P3VFX
    Intel P3 800Mhz
    256Mb ram
    120 gig HD
    ADS firewire card
