Adobe RAW plugin White Point problem

    I posted this question over on the Photoshop group and got no reply - I
    wonder if anyone here would know the answer to what might well be a daft
    question :)

    I have just gone through the Adobe Raw plugin tutorial whereit said to set
    the white point by using the White Balance Tool. Fine so far. This value
    (they say)should be a 3/4 grey value selected somewhere in the image.

    My question is, how do I accurately select a 3/4 grey portion of the image?
    Does a 3/4
    grey have an RGB value?

    1/4 of 256 = 64

    x3 = 192

    3/4 gray rgb = 192 192 192
