advice on removing kraft paper fibers after dry mounting a photo

    I've been a professional picture framer for 22 years and I have never had an issue with using kraft paper on top of a photograph in my vacuum mount press until now.
    the fibers of the kraft paper have left an impression and changed the visual surface of the photo. I have tried Unseal as well as Adhesive release.
    Any other recommendations? the photos are old school portraits and cannot be replaced.
