Has anyone ever had any problems with CF cards going through x-ray equipment
at airports. Everything I've read says they are fine, but wanted to double

    Hi Scott,

mine have been through probably hundreds of x-rays all over the place,
including some very dodgy equipment in remote airports in PNG, central
Thailand, Cambodia, all over China etc. and never a problem. PNG was
probably the worst - we were expecting our confiscated Australian red wine
to be boiling after it went through that contraption (Tabubil). :)

    You'll be right.

Yes, I guess one should worry when the security people start putting their
coffee through it or when there looks like an egg timer resting on top of
    the monitor.

Pack your cards carefully with talcum powder in plastic bags until they
    are brick size.

Wrap them around your leg with lots of tape and don't foget to tell your
father you are going on an overseas holiday he knows you cant afford.

Or place them in condoms and swallow them.

As long as the contacts are clean (if the latex bursts) and it slides in and
out of the camera okay then this shouldn't present a problem at the other

  9. This is taking the idea of "downloading" to ridiculous extremes.....
