Album software - simple and easy.

    No, not a commercial ad. I just thought after using this software and
    being very pleased with it, someone else here might find it useful too.
    It doesn't need installing on a web server, just put the album files in
    one directory and it works. Couldn't be simpler. It's free BTW.

    Apparently Porta was the guy who first a used convex lens on a camera
    obscura. Hmmm. Didn't know that!

    I think it I might use this instead of the highly complicated "Gallery"
    software which is far more than I'll ever need and way too hard to get
    working right for a mere photographer.

    I'll check it out. Here's one I've been using: http://jalbum.net/
    I've mostly been using it at work where I modified one of the preset skins
    to represent the department I work for:
