Are all in one scanner/copier/printers any good? Worth the money?
    Upsides? Downsides?

I have the HP K-60 as a printer it works pretty good, as a copier its
slow and you need to make adjustments for a good copy, faxing and
scanning from the document feeder is iffy on many occasions. The
number of papers fed into the feeder can cause it to jam, or to grab
more than one page and screw up the fax and scanning process. Printing
is excellent however as a stand alone.

The other bad side is, when it breaks you lose all the functions at
once versus having a separate fax, copier, printer, scanner. You
should also have a back up ( I have a separate fax machine, copier,
scanner, printer) all HP but the all in one had the auto feeder and it
scans 8.5 x 14 where the flatbed scanner does not.

Cost when I bought mine was around $400 US you can buy all four items
separately today for less, but it does take up space.
