This flash is on Sams Club web site for $225.84. Compatible it says
with Canon Mount works with SLR and Digital. I have a DREB.

On my DReb, it also takes a lot of experiment.
That manual does leave a lot to be desired. :-(

I use the first version (non-DG) on my 10D, works fine other than ocassional
over-exposure at close distances - easily remedied with a Sto-Fen Omni
Bounce or simply bouncing off of a nearby wall. The Canons are built
better, but unless you're a photojournalist or adventure photographer it's
    nothing to worry about.

Works fine as a master to a 420EX, or triggered by the ST-E2.
