Yep. I own a pentax MZ6. It is a superb camera. I shoot mainly
slides/transparencies and it meters and exposes them perfectly. A tremendous
camera for the price and very well made.

Yes I have used all these features. The pentax MZ6 takes as good as, often
better exposed slide transparencies than my Nikon F5 any day. That is how
    good the pentax MZ6 is

    hi !
I believe I'll buy one soon, all feedbacks I got about this camera are
excellent, and It would fit perfectly my actual pentax lenses (used now
with a good old SFX model)
did you use the MZ-6 sometimes with a wide angle ? a big zoom ?
    thx Ron,
    have a nice day,

G'day Patrice. Yes I have used the pentax MZ6 with both wide and zoom
lenses. The pentax MZ6 is backward compatible with all of the pentax lenses.
    I also have used it with a fixed/prime 28mm and also a 50mm prime/fixed lens
and mate the quality of the slide transparencies that they took were crisp
and razor shape with great depth of field. I cannot praise the pentax MZ6
enough. Even though I have a nikon F5 and a nikon D70 DSLR my pentax MZ6 is
my favourite camera. I suggest that when you purchase the MZ6 you also get a
remote control for it and also the accessory battery pack. Where practical
always use a tripod. Do you intend to take slide transparencies or mainly
negative film? If so are you going to scan them via a scanner? This is what
    I do.

    Anyhow cheers from Australia
