    Hello Everyone,

I just posted another article on whether I could use some of my old Nikon
accessories with a new Nikon D70 camera, but I have also been considering
another option -- the Leica Digilux 2. Anyone out there using this camera,
or does anyone have thoughts on it? It looks very well made, and I've heard
it can be used to take great pictures. I'm just worried that it wouldn't
give any micro-photography capability, and it's not cheap, either. On the
    other hand, it's a well-made metal-body camera, and I've always dreamt of
owning a Leica product. Any general thoughts on the Leica Digilux 2 would
be appreciated. Please send any replies to .

    Thanks in advance,
    Scott Speck

From what I read in passing, it seems like the camera is an overpriced
but top quality product. But, at the time, I wasn't the slightest
interested in rangefinders so maybe the camera had horrible drawbacks
and I just missed the info.

Leica did do the development of that camera together with Panasonic, so
you could also have a look at Panasonics "Lumix" camera's. They are much
    cheaper. For example:
