Wow, I have some jiggies on my low pass filter that won't blow off. From
what the book says, I better keep away from it. So I guess I have to send it
to Nikon for a cleaning. I'm so bummed, I've only taken a couple thousand
pictures, now I have to be without it. Anybody have any experience with it
    yet?

  2. You probably won't need to send it back for cleaning. All CMOS and CCD
sensors are covered with an layer of glass for anti-aliasing purposes.
Do some searches on google for "digital SLR sensor cleaning" and you'll
come across some decent sites showing how to do it.

Thanks. I did a search and I've gotten some more education into my new
camera! I appreciate it, I would normally have done such a search, but I
guess I had a brain fart.
